What Are the Construction Computing Awards?
The Construction Computing Awards (CCAs), known as "The Hammers," are annual awards celebrating digital excellence across the built environment sector. They recognise outstanding software, tools, and projects in construction, civil engineering, and asset management, with categories judged by experts or voted on by the public.

This is a category that is growing in importance and addresses one of the biggest challenges currently facing the planet. It includes projects that have implemented a comprehensive zero carbon policy, use the most up-to-date sustainable construction methods, or that use building performance software to monitor and mitigate energy usage. The category can also cover efficient water management solutions, transitions to sustainable energy resources, retro construction projects and sustainable decommissioning at the end of life. Asset Management Project of the Year 2026

Which Asset Management project has best transitioned information from design and construction to operation, creating a comprehensive digital framework for maintenance? This could include the use of IoT (Internet of Things) and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) devices to enhance performance. Eligible projects could involve buildings or infrastructure such as railways, highways, water systems, or power networks. Additionally, the initiative could integrate advanced systems like EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Please provide 1500 words, with 2 images. Entries should be submitted in PDF format. Mapping and surveying have always been integral to planning and construction. But now these activities are seeing revolutionary innovations with modern technology such as handheld and web-based mapping and GIS, drones, virtual reality, advanced remote sensing, and AI-enabled geomatics. Which Geospatial or Mapping project have you been involved in, perhaps using the latest technologies, over the last year? How have these been used to support architects, infrastructure engineers, contractors, or landscape developers? Please provide a 1500-word PDF to describe it, with accompanying illustrations. Artificial Intelligence Implementation of the Year 2026

AI is now a major component in construction projects, covering all aspects from planning, design and construction to facilities management. It is also being used to streamline the performance of sub-contractors, material and financial management applications and Project Scheduling. This new category gives companies the opportunity to describe how AI has been implemented within their organization, how it integrates with existing applications, and the benefits that have accrued.
